Beach List Direct proudly introduces the Republican Super PAC Donors list. Super PACs, also known as independent expenditure-only committees, were created in July 2010. Super PACs may raise unlimited sums of money from associations, corporations, unions, and individuals to spend unlimited sums of money to overtly advocate for or against political candidates. Unlike traditional PACs, Super PACs cannot donate directly to political candidates or campaigns.
These donors contribute to Republican Super PACs, which spend some of their money on TV advertisements that oppose the competition or that support Republican candidates. Super PACs are unable to coordinate with the campaigns they support, but they are able to spend money on building and maintaining pro-candidate websites, events, media and other consultants, advertising products and services, and gaining supporters and volunteers.
The most notable Republican Super PACs include We the People, Not Washington; American Crossroads; Freedom Partners Action Fund; Ending Spending Action Fund; and many more. As of 2015, more than 900 Super PACs are registered with the FEC.
